Mentor to UCSD College of Engineering students with
Cal-Space Institute, inspired team of multi-discipline
undergraduate students to design, construct and fly a
hi-altitude vehicle to measure radiation effects on
semiconductor memory. Successfully retrieved the vehicle
from +10k feet and processed data on radiation effects.

About past Products and Services
Designed and launched new Q62TM Rugged
Computing systems, prepared the exhibit for the ISA
conference and captured over 100 leads resulting in selling
52 systems.
Working with Pacific Communication
Sciences (PCSI), developed custom automatic test systems for
their cell phone repeater stations.
Designed
and installed predictive maintenance system for the
Cincinnati Milacron Skin Mill used at Boeing Corp.,
and corrected the failure of critical machine components
causing unacceptable downtime, costly repairs, plus loss of
$100K material scrap per incident.
Designed and installed a micro-pipeting
station for micro-arrays for Axys Pharmaceuticals that saved
lab personnel hours of tedious micro-sample handling.
Investigated SEFI Mitigation Technique and Proton Testing of
Microprocessors for Space Micro Inc. Single Event Functional
Interrupt (SEFI)
mitigation technique monitors and maintains the
operational status of commercial microprocessors in
radiation environments, such as seen in high earth orbits
and space. The Proton radiation testing was conducted and
results analyzed on the Intel Pentium III microprocessor
Designed
and deployed the Automated Test Equipment systems for the
mission critical functions of many IVAC medical devices
including Signature Edition Infusion system, Vital-Check
vital signs monitor, Temp-Plus and Core Check Thermometer
systems.
Developed and installed the SCADA system responsible for
monitoring and controlling the first mobile vacuum vapor
control distillation (VVCD) plant.
